Kuriakos WINTER Confirmation Retreat

Join us for a fun and faith-filled weekend at Kuriakos! This retreat is designed for youth in Grades 7–9 who are part of Confirmation programs in Lutheran or other churches, along with their pastors and leaders. Together, we’ll explore faith through worship, learning, games, and community.

All meals, accommodations, and program activities are included — just bring your energy, questions, and an open heart. Confirmation leaders from Churches are responsible for four 1-hour-long teaching sessions with their confirmands.

Men’s Retreat: "Called, Formed, Sent: The Shape of Christian Discipleship”

Step away from the noise and find a place where you belong. The Kuriakos Men’s Retreat invites you into a shared space of rest, honest conversation, and prayer—rooted in the beauty of God’s creation. 


Pastor Matt Gillard will be our retreat facilitator, bringing his humour, love for camp, and passion for men’s ministry to every conversation. He says: "The Christian life unfolds in patterns: being called by God, formed in relationship, and sent into the world. This retreat invites men to reflect on those patterns through the lenses of discipleship, mentorship, and ritual. We’ll explore how faith is shaped not only by belief, but by who teaches us, who walks with us, and the practices that root us in Christ. This is a space to slow down, tell the truth, and listen for where God may be forming us next."

Lenten Prayer retreat

Begin the season of Lent with intention, stillness, and listening for God’s voice. This weekend prayer retreat at Kuriakos offers a gentle invitation to step away from the noise of daily life and enter a space of quiet renewal of the spirit.


From Friday evening to Sunday afternoon, participants will be guided by Carmen Beck through discussions about prayer traditions and prayer practices designed to support interior reflection and openness to God’s presence. Alongside these guided times, there will be generous space for silence, rest, and individual prayer, allowing each person to listen deeply and respond at their own pace.


This retreat welcomes all who are seeking a deeper sense of connection—with God, within themselves, and with others. Whether you come carrying questions, longing for rest, or simply desiring a meaningful way to begin Lent, this weekend offers a supportive and contemplative environment for quiet spiritual growth.


Come as you are, and begin Lent grounded in reflection, renewal, and prayer.
