Ways to Give

A gift to Kuriakos is an investment in the spiritual, mental, and physical wellbeing of current and future generations.

  • Mail in (or drop off) a cheque/Money Order

Whether or not you have been sent an appeal letter asking for a donation, you are welcome to give to Kuriakos by sending in a cheque or money order.

Cheques should be made out to "KURIAKOS" and mailed to

         5-39317 Range Road 24

         Lacombe County AB  T4E 2R7

  • Send an e-Transfer

You can email a gift directly from your bank account by e-transfer. This is a very inexpensive way to give: it costs Kuriakos nothing to receive it, but your bank may charge you a small fee to send it (depending on your account type).

E-transfers can be sent to info@kuriakos.ab.ca.

  • Give online

If you give to Kuriakos through CanadaHelps.org, CanadaHelps will send you a tax receipt immediately and they will transfer the money to the camp bank account shortly afterwards.

CanadaHelps accepts credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Visa Debit), Paypal, and CanadaHelps gift cards. You can also set up an automatic monthly gift to Kuriakos through this platform. CanadaHelps can also accept gifts of securities.

  • give over the phone

You can phone the office and make a gift to Kuriakos over the phone with your credit card. Please call 403.746.2702, ideally during regular office hours.

  • Donate a car

Donate A Car Canada accepts vehicle donations on behalf of Kuriakos. We provide free towing in many areas, or you can drop off your vehicle to maximize your donation. Vehicles will be recycled or sold at auction.

Gift Policies and Procedures

Charitable Donation Receipts are issued for all eligible gifts to Kuriakos. Our CRA Registration number is 108 058 082 RR 0001. Receipts are issued in January (except for online gifts receipted by CanadaHelps).

If you give more than $200 to charity in a given tax year, you are eligible for a higher rate of tax credit! For example, in Alberta, a $1000 gift to Kuriakos costs you less than $600 after tax credit.

Gifts received will go into the GENERAL FUND unless otherwise designated. The general fund supports operational costs, staffing (including the staff bursary), and campership program subsidies for campers who cannot afford the full fee.

You may give in honour or in memory of a person or organization.
